Lamsang Woo & Albert Ong resumed their monthly chess match @ Isnin. d 1st game ws equally matched, ending in a draw. d 2nd game saw Woo taking advantage of Ong's blind move tt allowed him to proceed w a passed pawn, thus winning d game.

After a lapse of almost a month, William Lim & Albert Ong resumed their chess match, only to see a draw as the outcome: 0-1; 1-0.

Today's Chess is supposed to be a Threesome, but William Lim sent an SMS to say he's away in JB. And so, undetered, LamSang Woo and Albert Ong went into a 2-game battle with the chess clock ticking away.

In the 1st game, Woo playing White forced a draw by perpetual check. The 2nd game with Ong playing the Sicilian Defence also ended in a draw.

My neighbour's kids like to play chess, having taken lessons @ the Chess Academy in Bishan. It's good to start young as they learn to think logically.
